Learning Goals:
Week 1: Exponent Rules Review
1. I know the Exponent Rules for Multiplying & Dividing Powers of the SAME BASE.
2. I can apply the Exponent Rules to simplify exponential expressions.
Week 2: Exponential Relations: Graphs, Exponential Growth, Exponential Decay
1. Graphing an Exponential Relation from the equation.
2. Recognize properties of exponential relations (i.e. a>1 increases, 0<a<1 decreases, always passes through 1, etc.)
3. Classify a relation as Linear, Quadratic or Exponential from a Table of Values, Graph and/or Equation.
4. Create an equation to model Exponential Growth/Decay and use this to calculate the growth/decay of bacteria, investments, etc. after a certain length of time.
